On a 601A stuck at 26 months, we filed an ‘outside normal processing time’ inquiry at https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/, followed by a congressional assist and a DHS Ombudsman request, and it moved in about six weeks. If that fizzles, mandamus can work, but I only swing that hammer when the record is squeaky clean.
